the Bet

It's been a while since I finished a new song though I've started plenty. Writer's block, or creative burnout, whatever you call can be frustratingly persistent in it's nagging taunt that "maybe you shouldn't be calling yourself a songwriter." Well I am a songwriter and I couldn't be happier with the way this one came out. This was the very first public performance and I had only finished it the day of the show. This performance was part of the Songwriters In The Round Series at Anderson Fair and Wayne Wilkerson is the the guy playing fantastic lead to a song he'd never heard before! I think you'll like it and I hope I'm not wrong about that. -KC
